From code to cash in four steps
Tap through to see what you do, what the agent does, and where the money lands.
Your family or friend sends through Ria, Western Union, MoneyGram or one of the other services and gives you the transfer code.
Choose the service, pick Myself or Friend, enter the code and the mobile money number to pay. The first time you collect for yourself, an agent verifies your ID.
A registered agent handles the transfer at the counter on your behalf. You can watch the status in the app.
The amount plus your commission lands in your wallet, and you get a notification with the mobile money reference as proof.

The things that usually slow a pickup down, handled once or handled for you.
Paid to mobile money
Your payout goes to your wallet — Orange Money, Afrimoney and more — or to a friend’s number if you’re collecting for them.
Verified once
An agent checks your ID and address one time. We remind you a month, a week and a day before it expires, so it never catches you out at the counter.
Collect for a friend
Choose Friend, enter their number, and the payout goes to them. Commission still comes with it.
Commission on top
Added to your payout, never deducted from it. The rate for each service is shown before you submit.
Updates as they happen
Status and push notifications in the app, and a mobile money reference kept as proof of every payout.

Invite a friend. Earn when they collect.
Share your referral code. When your friend completes their first Ria, MoneyGram or Western Union transfer, you earn credit equal to 0.3% of what they collected.
- The credit is added to your own next “Myself” transfer automatically.
- It’s one time per friend, and it can’t be withdrawn as cash or used on a Friend transfer.
- Transfers through the other services don’t earn or use referral credit.
Estimate at 0.3%. Each friend’s first confirmed transfer counts once.

Questions people ask
What is Korah?
Korah is an app that connects you with registered agents who process cash-pickup transfers for you. You submit the transfer code in the app, and the agent pays the amount to your mobile money.
Does Korah hold my money?
No. Korah never receives, holds or takes custody of your funds. The money moves through the provider’s own settlement network, just as it would at an agent counter.
Which transfers can I collect?
Ria, Western Union and MoneyGram, plus Afro International (which also pays Remitly, WorldRemit and Transfast), Sika Cash and Nafa, BnB and Transfapay. The app always shows the current list.
Do I need to verify my ID?
Before you collect a transfer for yourself, an agent reviews a photo of a valid ID and your address once. Approved verification has an expiry date, and the app reminds you a month, a week and a day before it runs out.
How do I get paid?
By mobile money, to the number you enter. An agent pays it out and records the mobile money reference, which you keep as proof.
What does it cost?
Korah adds commission to your payout instead of charging you. The percentage for each service is shown in the app before you submit, and it’s paid on top of your amount, never deducted from it.
Can I collect for a friend?
Yes. Choose Friend, enter their mobile money number and the code. The payout goes to them.
How does the referral credit work?
When someone you referred completes their first Ria, MoneyGram or Western Union transfer, you earn credit equal to 0.3% of what they collected. It’s applied automatically to your own next “Myself” transfer. It has no cash value and can’t be used on a Friend transfer.
What if I enter the wrong code or number?
Check both carefully before you submit. Korah and its agents aren’t responsible for a payout sent to a number entered incorrectly. If something was processed wrongly, tell support in the app as soon as you can.
How do I get help?
Open Support in the app and chat with us. Reply times can vary, and we flag known issues in the app.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, any time from the app. Deletion takes effect after a short grace period during which you can change your mind. Afterwards your data is removed, except records we must keep to follow anti-money-laundering and other laws.
Is Korah part of Ria, Western Union or MoneyGram?
No. Korah is an independent Sierra Leonean company. We process transfers through our agents, under a licensed money transfer operator. Brand names and logos belong to their owners.
