Remitly, WorldRemit and Transfast transfers are paid out in Sierra Leone through Afro International. Submit your code in the Korah app, and a registered agent processes it and pays it to your mobile money wallet.
How to collect your Afro / Remitly / WorldRemit / Transfast transfer with Korah
- Get the code. Your sender shares the transfer code from Remitly, WorldRemit or Transfast with you.
- Submit it in the Korah app. Choose the service, pick Myself or Friend, enter the code and the mobile money number to pay. The first time you collect for yourself, an agent verifies your ID.
- An agent processes it. A registered agent handles the transfer at the counter on your behalf. You can follow the status in the app.
- You are paid on mobile money. The amount, plus any commission, lands in your wallet, and you get a notification with the mobile money reference as proof.
What you need
- The transfer code from your sender.
- The Korah app and a phone number you can verify.
- A valid ID, verified once by an agent, to collect for yourself.
- A mobile money number for the payout (yours, or your friend’s).

Yes. In Sierra Leone these transfers are paid through Afro International, which Korah agents process. Choose the Afro International, Remitly, WorldRemit and Transfast service in the app.
Is there a commission on these transfers?
Any commission on these services is set per service and shown in the app before you submit. Where none is shown, the amount is paid out in full. No referral credit applies to these services.
Is Korah part of Remitly, WorldRemit, Transfast or Afro International?
No. Korah is an independent Sierra Leonean company. We process these transfers through our agents, under a licensed money transfer operator. All names belong to their owners.
How am I paid?
By mobile money, to the number you enter. The agent records the mobile money reference, which you keep as proof.
